National Unlock Day

Dr. Sam is proud to partner with Unlock Day and Edovo to transform lives through education. On National Unlock Day, March 25, every time you post a 🔓 emoji—with the hashtags #UnlockDay and #Edovo —generous donors cover the cost to unlock one day of education for someone in prison. Edovo, a pioneering nonprofit, has already provided free access to rehabilitation, upskilling, and education for one million incarcerated individuals, proving that knowledge can break incarceration cycles and pave the way to better futures. Yet, challenges remain: insufficient donations and limited access in certain states. By joining this nationwide movement, supporters help overcome these obstacles. With every post and donation—even as small as $1, which comes with wearable rewards featuring the 🔓 symbol—each act contributes to a larger ripple effect of change.

Problem

For too long, education has been out of reach for people in prison—despite clear proof it transforms their lives during and after prison.

We are Edovo, the nonprofit profoundly changing the system. We give free access to rehabilitation, upskilling, and education to every single person in prison. After a decade of hard work, we're reaching half. That's a million people! But America can't afford to wait another decade to unlock the other half.

Here’s the problem though. We’ve got two road blocks:
