As a Board Member of The Marshall Project, I bring my passion for criminal justice reform and lived experience to further the organization's mission of producing impactful, nonpartisan journalism that highlights systemic injustices. The Marshall Project focuses on increasing public understanding of the criminal legal system, driving conversations that lead to meaningful reform, and holding institutions accountable.

Through my role, I actively contribute to strategic planning, community outreach, and advocacy efforts that align with my commitment to amplify the voices of justice-impacted individuals, especially women of color. By helping to guide investigative reporting on issues like mass incarceration, parole reform, and wrongful convictions, I ensure that our work resonates with affected communities and sparks real change.

The Marshall Project’s work has influenced policy shifts, raised awareness, and secured the release of wrongfully convicted individuals.
